  • When is the best time to plant a tree?

    Generally speaking spring time as soon as the weather is consistently warm. This gives the new tree the longest consecutive stretch of time in which it can establish a root system without having to deal with factors such as the ground freezing

  • When is the best time of year to prune a tree?

    This can vary by species. Generally speaking in spring before bud break is the best time to prune a tree. Fall and winter are also acceptable. Summer is the least ideal.

  • Do you use spikes to prune trees?

    NO. This is a big no no. If you wear spikes to prune a tree you can save a lot of time, make your work easier, and probably charge less. You are severely hurting and potentially killing the tree. Spikes are to be used on removals only.

  • Do you have a bucket truck?

    Yes. Whatever tool is right for your job we have. Whether it be a bucket truck or any other piece of machinery. We will bring whatever is needed to get the work done efficiently and safely. 

  • Do you haul all debris?

    Yes. Whatever level of service is required for the job we can accommodate. We can offer anywhere from cutting the tree down and leaving everything, no clean up, to taking all of the debris and not leaving a single leaf..

  • What do you do with the tree once you remove it?

    It all depends

  • Can I keep the wood chips?

    Absolutely! Again, mention this at the quote so we can factor it in to the price of the job..

  • Can I keep the firewood?

    Of course! Be sure mention that you would like to keep the wood at the quote so we can talk about the details of exactly how you want it left and factor that in.

  • Do you offer emergency tree removal services?

  • What payment methods do you accept?

    We accept cash, check and card. There is a 3.4% processing fee for credit card transactions.

  • Are you licensed? Insured?

    Yes, we are licensed. Yes, we carry much more than the minimum required insurance on damages that may occur.

  • Do I have to be there when my work is being completed?

    Nope! Do to our busy and constantly changing schedule we actually prefer you not need to be there as this is just one more thing to schedule around.

  • How long is my job going to take?

    This depends on a lot of factors. We will include in the quote an estimated time for completion of your project.

  • How much do you charge?

    It is impossible to say over the phone or even if you want to text or email us pictures of the tree. There are just too many factors involved and we must come out and have a look at your project to be able to provide a price.

  • How long after accepting a quote until my job can be scheduled?

    This can vary greatly dependent on a lot of factors. In our busiest season we are booked up about 2-4 weeks in advance, at any given time. It could be sooner, it could be longer.

  • How long after my request will you be able to give me an estimate?

    In most cases we can schedule and estimate in approximately 3-4 business days after the request. In the busiest seasons it could take longer.

  • Do you give free estimates?

    Yes, we are happy to be able to provide customers with free estimates. In most cases we require that you will be home to meet for the estimate. We like to be able to talk to you about the specifics of the job and find this is the best way we are on the same page and meet all of your needs.
